The following is enough to make 2 pillows:
1 yard African fabric. Will be able to choose from 4 different prints.
2 yards small print complementary fabric for back of pillow and borders
(Cookie suggests batik, which is very easy to work with.)
1 yard cotton quilt batting, (I like Warm and Natural)
1/2 yd of 1/2 inch wide sew in velcro
1/2 yard fusible adhesive (I like Heat and Bond)
20 inch pillow form – These are from $15 to $25 at Joann Fabric.

Ironing pad and small iron
24 inch quilters ruler. If you own just one ruler, you need to own a standard 6” x 24” clear, plastic ruler. I love Omni Grid
