Weaving feminism & spirituality into a vision of justice for the world
Sometimes we retain habits and patterns of posture, movement, or thinking that date back to childhood. Sometimes we lose capabilities and flexibilities of our youth. When are habitual patterns useful or no longer useful? Can we regain or protect capabilities that may serve our present health and well-being? This series of 5 lessons will assist your exploration of these questions. The Feldenkrais Method of learning through movement invites us to think, feel, imagine, sense and move. Good for your brain and your body! You will benefit from one or from all 5. These will be on the floor lessons. Dress comfortably. Space is limited, so register promptly!
Enrich your life and expand your abilities. These innovative & generally FUN lessons allow you to observe how you move, notice unnecessary tension and improve your overall coordination, stability and ease in everyday activities at work or at play. Discover the Feldenkrais Method and discover yourself! Mats provided. Newcomers welcome!
