Celebration of Elder Wisdom, by Anita McLeod

We are so pleased to announce the publication of Elder Women: Searching for Truth in Circles of Women, a book of Anita McLeod’s collected writings. Join us for a celebration of Anita and the book on December 8, in the season of what would have been her 80th birthday.

We are forever grateful for Anita McLeod’s many roles and influences at RCWMS. Anita embodied feminist principles in her leadership style: she trusted groups of women to learn from and teach one another without her having to be the kind of teacher who tells participants everything they need to know. She trusted the groups more than the “experts.” She often said, “I wanted to learn, to have meaningful conversations, and to contemplate my choices in a circle of thoughtful women.”

We hope you will join with Anita’s friends and family for the launch of this labor of love and esteem. Elder Wisdom will be for sale at the event.
