Someone Other Than a Mother: A Reading and Q & A with Erin Lane (via Zoom)

Both memoir and manifesto, this book sets aside the shaming social scripts that are bad for moms and non-moms alike and invites readers to write a truer, kinder story about who we are when we are not who the world expects. Lane will be in conversation with local pastor and life enthusiast Rev. Lisa Yebuah. (BONUS: The Resource Center’s own Jeanette Stokes is featured in the book!)

Author: Educated at Duke Divinity School and trained by Parker J. Palmer, Erin Lane works as a writer, theologian, and vocational facilitator, helping people explore their shyest and wildest questions of purpose. She resides in Raleigh, NC with all manner of kin—human and not.
