I have a real treat for you. For the last year or so, I’ve been working with the tapes of Meinrad Craighead’s lectures that I recorded long ago. We have started putting them up on our website.
The first images in the lecture series are of the simple dirt path that leads up to Meinrad’s art studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. There, she waits with sage in hand. She has prepared a ceremony in an open-air circle to welcome us into the mystery of her world.
These were the steps I took twenty years ago when I began videotaping Meinrad giving lectures to groups. These lectures were full-bodied, immersive experiences in which she gave insights into her simple life and complex work, talked about the Divine Feminine, and led us deeper into the artistic practices that nourished her journey.
Even though Meinrad passed away in 2018, her lectures continue to provide a pathway to guide women on their journeys toward deeper spirituality and more powerful lives.
I am reaching out to you so that you can help us share these amazing lectures. We are converting over twenty hours of taped footage into thirteen short, compelling videos for free online distribution so that all of us will have access to these lectures. Two of the lectures from Meinrad’s workshops are already available, along with three videos from lectures given at a Jungian conference in 1992. These lectures are available here. Meinrad followers will find deeper connection to their teacher, and a broader audience will be invited into Meinrad’s world and wisdom.
